SMARTTILE · SERVICEAUTOMATE™ · KASEYA BMS

Kaseya BMS and Pulseway PSA, ticketed for you when a site goes down

When SmartTile confirms an outage it opens the service-desk ticket in your Kaseya BMS or Pulseway PSA, notes it while the outage runs, and resolves it on recovery by your rules. Your desk works the ticket where it already works.

SmartTile integrates with
Pulseway PSA and Kaseya BMS — one connector, the shared REST API v2 (api.psa.pulseway.com, or api.bms.kaseya.com for Kaseya BMS) — signed in as a dedicated API user of your tenant.
How SmartTile automates it
Opens a Service Desk ticket on the account and location you choose when an outage is confirmed, adds private notes as it evolves, carries technician notes to and from the SmartChoice ticket every 5 minutes, and resolves it on restore, after N minutes or never.
Category
ServiceServiceAutomate™

A monitoring alert that lives outside the service desk gets re-typed by hand — account, location, device, when it started. SmartTile ServiceAutomate™ writes the ticket straight into your Kaseya BMS or Pulseway PSA (same product, same API, same connector) with your ticket type, source, status, priority, queue, issue type, assignee and SLA already set, and keeps it current until the site is back.

How it goes live

  1. In Pulseway PSA / Kaseya BMS: Admin → Security → Users (Employees on some builds) → create a dedicated user, e.g. SmartTile Automation, with a role that can create and edit Service Desk tickets and notes, and read accounts, locations and contacts.
  2. Note your Tenant — the company name typed on the login screen, not the URL.
  3. In SmartTile: ServiceAutomate → IT Platform Integrations → pick the company → Pulseway PSA → Setup. Enter tenant, API user and password; for Kaseya BMS set the API server URL to https://api.bms.kaseya.com.
  4. Test Connection — the ID boxes turn into your real pick-lists. Choose account, location, type, source, open and closed status, priority (required) and the optional fields.
  5. Set the sync policy, switch Platform enabled on and Save. Prove it in the ServiceAutomate Lab before an outage depends on it.

Security and control

Your tenant, your user

Each company connects its own tenant. The password is stored encrypted, never shown again, and never written to any log — the sign-in call is deliberately kept out of the API log.

Two switches

Platform enabled per company, plus the platform-wide Pulseway PSA engine switch under Admin → Engine Safety — off by default; off means zero calls.

Throttle-aware

Pulseway allows about 1,500 requests per hour per endpoint. On a 429 SmartTile waits 2 s, retries once, then says so plainly.

Proven, then logged

The Lab runs create → note → read-back → close on your tenant. Tickets opened and closed, and every carried note, show in the Automation Audit Ledger for your company only.

Common objections

ObjectionAnswer
“We run Kaseya BMS, not Pulseway.”Same product, same API. Point the API server URL at api.bms.kaseya.com; everything else is identical.
“This will flood the service desk.”One ticket per location by default, an open delay that swallows blips, and no second ticket while one is open.
“Our notes are customer-facing.”SmartTile notes are private to agents by default. Visible to the customer only if you choose.
“What is not done yet?”Every ticket goes to the one account and location chosen per company. A repeat outage after close opens a new ticket (no re-open), and the setup form has no ⓘ help yet.
The ticket you would have typed is already in your service desk — and it closes itself when the site is back.
